You see that? It’s fine hair fuzz all around the hairline. I still have it. Back when I was in school it was what determined whether you were a devil or an angel. Devils had the hair fuzz, angels did not. I didn’t mind being a devil. It seemed far more rebellious and daring. Riley’s hair is finally long and thick enough that a clip will stay in. Momentous. Really. Hair is a big deal. It’s a big part of why she looks like a little girl and not a baby. And also will probably mean that people will stop referring to her as a ‘he’. Unfortunately I’m sure that this means that she’ll have thick, unruly hair. It’s in the family.

It all start out so well – with the super cute pigtails. But even then you can see the cheeky glint in her eye.
And then the torture begins. Despite how cute she looks and how presentable she is with her hair all nicely done. She starts pulling at it. She does this on purpose.
And then she completes the job. So cold. So calculating.
And then the torture was complete. If only she didn’t look so damn happy about it.
