SAHM Setting the Women’s Movement Back?

I am so glad that I subscribed to the comments at PhD in Parenting’s article  - Dr. Phil Stay-at-home mom vs. working mom show because if I hadn’t I would have missed out an an a really interesting debate. Childcare is one of those things that everyone has an opinion about. It might be that it’s too expensive, or the waiting lists are too long, or it might be something more controversial like it’s ‘good for them’. The Unattainable Balance

As somebody who goes into work once a week, works from home on the other days and run around after a 16 month old, I am always looking for ways that I can fit everything in. I think it would be definitely possible to fit everything in if I had about three or four more hours in the day, or maybe a housekeeper or a cook or a really good assistant.
