Riley watching a DVD. Josh catching up on Itunes. It was a bit of a mission to find the power adapter for the portable DVD player. Perfect example of how men are incapable of looking for something in an effective manner.
Josh. Staring at where he thinks the cord should be. “It has to be here!”
Me. Look elsewhere. Move things.
Josh. It has to be here.
Eventually, he took my advice and found it on top of the bookcase. Very logical.

We Are Family

The theme this week at i heart faces is we are family. It is a good reminder that in all of my obsessive photographing of Riley, I sometimes don’t put the same level of effort into capturing us as a family. A perfect indication of this is the fact that this photo was taken over 6 months ago.

The Alternative is a Lifetime of Therapy

Josh took the plunge and had his first tattoo done today. I explained to him that if we had four more children he would need to get a tattoo for each of them. His response:
What? No I don’t! She’s the first!
Me: Getting more tattoos is cheaper than a LIFETIME of therapy for all our future children
Him: Really?!
Me: I’ll drug you and do it while you’re unconscious if necessary.
