From birthday presents and scraped savings I finally bought my camera and it arrived this week. It’s funny the things you find out about yourself seemingly after the fact. I was at a wedding on the weekend and it was there that I realised I am not a serious person. I always thought of myself that way. But I am not serious and generally, I find people who are serious slightly exhausting and slightly humourless.

I haven’t been hiding! I’ve been temporarily distracted by an idea to start a childrens’ book review website. If someone would just get it together to get me my clone, everything would go a whole lot smoother.
Stay tuned. Once it’s fit for the beginnings of public consumption, I’ll let you know. I’ve already changed the design a million and one times so don’t hold your breath. Things would go so much quicker if I had a coder on hand. But as it is, I just fumble around in the dark …
